Trellidor began as a small, independently owned powder coating business in 1976 in Durban, South Africa. Today we are the leading South African security barrier manufacturer and have been listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange since 2015.

The signature Trellidor product is a traditional sliding trellis-style gate. This was the first model we designed and manufactured, and it has remained popular ever since. Over the years, we’ve developed innovative designs and added them to our range. These are:

Personal Safety is Our Priority
The quality claims made by a security barrier supplier should be trustworthy because they impact lives. There is no recognised standards body for this in South Africa. To give customers confidence in Trellidor products, we had them tested overseas. To date we are the only South African manufacturer that has successfully achieved independent, international certification.
This was done through the Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB), under the umbrella of BRE Global in the UK. It is a global third party approvals organisation that tested and certified Trellicor (Pty) Ltd products and the factory Quality Management Systems (QMS).
Trellidor aims to deliver a professional, personalised service. We have 50 South African and 21 international franchises that use their local knowledge to tailor our security barriers to customers’ requirements. Our teams have secured everything from tiny apartments to enormous London Underground train stations.
